Lampshades plays vital role in any home decoration and if it is made by you it adds personal touch to it. Use some waste materials available at your home and craft things that worth for your place. These types of lampshades can be use to decorate areas of your house which creates beautiful ambiance for any purpose whether it is anniversary decoration, birthday decoration, party decoration etc.
DIY lampshade with recycled materials at home in lesser time. Lighting your home with lampshades in this festive season. The cost spend on making of these lampshades are so less that u can compare it with the cost of one cheapest ice cream available in market.
Material required:
* Popsicle/ ice-cream sticks (14 pieces) * fevi kwik or fevicol * Wool thread or regular thread * Fairy lights ( old or new) * Paint * Newspaper * Pencil to mark * Scissors
- Take 14 ice cream sticks/ Popsicle and glue to paste.
- Make 2 square pieces of same size.
- Create 3D square frame.
- Take half newspaper piece and roll it out in a tube shape stick.
- Now roll paper stick on circular object to form a ring.
- Once the ring is ready, cut Popsicle stick from center and paste on the 2 edges of the paper ring.
- Paste that ring on top of the 3D square popsicle frame.
- Paint them in desire color.
- Now take a wool thread and start warping in the frame until it covers most of the area.
- Once warping is done, take another half piece of newspaper and form similar ring like previous one.
- Take fairy lights and insert it inside the lamp.
- Attach another bell shape ring once whole fairy lights are inserted.
- Finally the lamps are ready to glow.
